Our Advanced Instrumentation Facility is equipped with the Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Fusion Tribrid Mass Spectrometer, which is suitable for identification of metabolites, small-molecule structural analysis, fragmentation of ions, and metabolomics studies. This is made possible by the combination of the quadrupole, Orbitrap and linear ion trap mass analyzers. Our mass spectrometer is integrated with the Vanquish UHPLC system which provides powerful separation of compounds in samples like plants, drugs, and body fluids among others.
